Born in a spiritually oriented family he had the good fortune of getting the Spiritual Samskaras right from early childhood itself. His house has been the abode of various spiritual masters and Mahatmas who still continue to visit his house on regular basis. The study of Bhagavat and other spiritual scriptures, bhajans, kirtans, japa, meditation etc have been a regular routine of his family members for decades.
Connected with various spiritual organizations, his early initiation began when he enrolled in Chinmaya's Bal Vihar classes as a child. Later he continued to graduate into its youth wing, the Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK) of which he is currently the President of the Mulund center. The group regularly holds spiritual discussions, camps and organizes various spiritual activities like Satsanghs and Gyan Yagnas.
He has traveled to various spiritual places in India including Chardham, Gaumukh and Siddhabari. About his travels abroad, he has visited Russia on business and places like Katmandu and Kailash Manasarovar on his personal spiritual trips.
Professionally, he is a fabrication engineer with the Management degree in Import and Exports from L.N. Welingkar’s institute of Management Development and research. He continues to devote his time to his family business of Custom Clearing and freight forwarding, an establishment firmly entrenched market for over 100 years.
He plans to bring in a spiritual dimension to all the businesses that he handles and also guides his clients, suppliers and associates to go about their business according to the code of morals and ethics. A Shiv Bhakat himself, he believes that business should not only bring in money, but also strive to spiritually uplift the society and thus abet the economic development of the nation.
Today, through his new company Yatra, he continues to spread the message of the rishis and saints of India by organizing various spiritual tours and sales of spiritual products.
His ideals in life are Swami Vivekananda and Swami Chinmayananda.
